ALTERNATIVE FUELLED VEHICLES
ELECTRIC VEHICLES (EVs) AND HYBRIDS.
For EVs and hybrids, the main focus is upon the Automotive Industry; essentially, the design, build, after market (sales, service and repair) and first, second, third and fourth emergency responders within fire, police, collision investigators and breakdown recovery services.
Accredited levels 1 – level 4 courses are designed for a range of personnel including for sales (as awareness), repair and maintenance and detailed diagnostics. Gaining the necessary EV/Hybrid knowledge will enable engineers, manufacturers, technicians and professionals to extend their skill set and allow employers to extend their product offering. This will ensure that, as technology develops, high standards are maintained.
In addition to commercial training delivery, REVAMP can work in conjunction with selected technology partners to deliver accredited training as ‘bootcamps’ in which relevant businesses can gain the necessary skills and knowledge in the emerging technology of electric vehicles/hybrids within the automotive sector to ensure it meets industry needs and standards.
As a national Alternative Fuelled Vehicles training provider, REVAMP also offers a variety of non-accredited courses which are relevant to the current and future Vehicle Electrification Economy.
ELECTRIFICATION (BATTERY DEVELOPMENT AND DEPLOYMENT)
REVAMP has both developed and deliver training course modules for battery development and deployment incorporating battery technology fundamentals, Lithium-Ion battery manufacturing and energy storage, Lithium-Ion battery health and safety and Lithium-Ion battery repurposing and recycling.
HYDROGEN AWARENESS AND RISK ASSESSMENT MANAGEMENT TRAINING
The awareness training module is split into 6 distinct training topics incorporating Hydrogen fundamentals, manufacture, safety, distribution, storage and handling and training and competency requirements. In support to the 1 day Hydrogen Awareness course, REVAMP Training Limited offer an overall 4 day CPD training course in Hydrogen safety analysis and risk assessment management. The course covers Hydrogen Awareness (as above) plus duties and responsibilities, regulatory legislation, Hydrogen hazard identification and risk assessment both theory and application, key considerations and emergency responses. Additionally, Hydrogen systems, facility design and construction, alongside system components will be examined together with a scenario based Hydrogen analysis exercise.
DOMESTIC BUILT ENVIRONMENT
This broad area of training incorporates 4 distinct areas. Electric Vehicle Domestic Charging Points; the content of the course designed specifically for learners who are new to electrification and domestic EV charging points.
Domestic Photo Voltaics; the content of the course designed to give the learner the foundation knowledge and understanding to build and install a domestic PV solar unit.
Retrofit of Buildings; the content of the training course designed to deliver the importance of energy efficiency within the construction built environment with respect to retrofit insulation techniques, skills and competences.
Domestic Energy Assessor; the content of the course is designed specifically for learners who are looking for a career as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA).
