We are a leading provider of training for both alternative fuelled vehicles and alternative fuels in the domestic built environment. With respect to alternative fuelled vehicle training, REVAMP are dedicated to delivering a suite of accredited training courses through the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) alongside bespoke non-accredited continuous professional development (CPD) courses. Domestic built environment training courses are offered under CPD. REVAMP seeks to empower people through both accredited and non-accredited training courses, allowing learners to operate effectively and efficiently in the workplace. The company will respond to the needs of any industry, market sector and business professional. ALTERNATIVE FUELLED VEHICLES ELECTRIC VEHICLES (EVs) AND HYBRIDS. For EVs and hybrids, the main focus is on the Automotive Industry; essentially, the design, build, after market (sales, service and repair) and first, second, third and fourth emergency responders within fire, police, collision investigators and breakdown recovery services. Accredited levels 1 to level 4 courses are designed for a range of personnel including sales (as awareness), repair and maintenance, and detailed diagnostics. Gaining the necessary EV/Hybrid knowledge will enable engineers, manufacturers, technicians and professionals to extend their skill set and allow employers to extend their product offering. This will ensure that, as technology develops, high standards are maintained. In addition to commercial training delivery, REVAMP can work in conjunction with selected technology partners to deliver accredited training as ‘boot-camps’ in which relevant businesses can gain the necessary skills and knowledge in the emerging technology of electric vehicles/hybrids within the automotive sector to ensure it meets industry needs and standards. As a national and international Alternative Fuelled Vehicles training provider, REVAMP also offers a variety of non-accredited courses which are relevant to the current and future Vehicle Electrification Economy. ELECTRIFICATION (BATTERY DEVELOPMENT AND DEPLOYMENT) REVAMP has devised and delivered training course modules for battery development and deployment, incorporating battery technology fundamentals, Lithium-Ion battery manufacturing and energy storage, Lithium-Ion battery health and safety and Lithium-Ion battery repurposing and recycling. HYDROGEN AWARENESS AND RISK ASSESSMENT MANAGEMENT TRAINING The awareness training module is split into 6 distinct training topics: • Hydrogen fundamentals • Manufacture • Safety • Distribution, storage and handling • Training and competency requirements In addition to the 1 day Hydrogen Awareness course, REVAMP Training Limited offer an overall 4 day CPD training course in Hydrogen safety analysis and risk assessment management. The course covers Hydrogen Awareness (as above) plus duties and responsibilities, regulatory legislation, Hydrogen hazard identification and risk assessment both theory and application, key considerations and emergency responses. In addition, Hydrogen systems, facility design and construction, alongside system components will be examined together with a scenario based Hydrogen analysis exercise. DOMESTIC BUILT ENVIRONMENT This broad area of training incorporates 4 distinct areas - Electric Vehicle Domestic Charging Points; the content of the course is designed specifically for learners who are new to electrification and domestic EV charging. Domestic Photo Voltaics; the course is designed to give the learner the foundation knowledge and understanding to build and install a domestic PV solar unit. Retrofit of Buildings; the content of the training course is designed to focus on the importance of energy efficiency within the construction built environment with respect to retrofit insulation techniques, skills and competencies. Domestic Energy Assessor; the content of the course is designed specifically for learners who are looking for a career as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA). |
